Veterans Justice Outreach (VJO) Annual Courts Inventory (Fact Sheet February 2016/Department of Veterans Affairs)

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veteran Justice Outreach (VJO) Specialists work with community-based Veterans Treatment Courts (VTCs) and other veteran-focused courts and jails. VJO Specialists connect justice-involved veterans with VA services and work with courts throughout veterans' treatment programs. The program was founded in 2009 and in 2012, VJPs initiated an annual inventory of Veterans Courts.
