VHA Handbook 1330.02: Women Veterans Program Manager (May 23, 2012)

Each Veteran Administration Medical Center is required to have a full-time without collateral assignments Women Veterans Program Manager (WVPM) in accordance with the VA's July 8, 2008 memorandum issued by the Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Operations and Management to the Veteran Integrated Service Network (VISN) Directors. The WVPM advocates for women veterans and provides leadership by establishing, coordinating, and integrating accessible high-quality health care services with multiple disciplines within VA medical facilities and across VHA organizational elements within each of the service networks.
