Briefing: VA Suicide Update (2014)

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) 2014 briefing, "Suicide Rates in VHA Patients through 2011 with Comparisons with Other Americans and other Veterans through 2010," provides some updates to their 2012 suicide report.

Data showed the rate of suicide among female users of VA health care remains higher than the rate of suicide among all US females and the greatest percentage of suicides among result from poisoning and firearm injury.
